At the time of their presentation, our models are proposed in subscription or on pre-order, at a very preferential price. You order your watch at its launch price and wait for it to be produced. The production time is specified when you order and is usually between 5 and 6 months. Don't hesitate to take advantage of these "friendly prices" by ordering by subscription!
Once the watch is available, the subscription price is no longer applicable. On most models, the price difference between subscription and normal price corresponds approximately to the VAT paid to the State (20%).

When we created our brand ten years ago, in addition to my passion for watches and my family's atavism - let's remember that my mother's family was active in watchmaking since the beginning of the 18th century in Switzerland, and then in Normandy - the creation of our brand was based on an idea: to offer our customers the watches they wanted. Our customers regularly asked us for a modern skeleton watch at a reasonable price, and so our first skeleton watch, the "Coeur Ouvert® Nouvelle Vague", was born.
Why a tourbillon watch ?
As for all our creations, it was discussions with our customers, at least some of them, that made us want to produce a tourbillon watch in a very limted edition! These customers expressed the desire to acquire a skeleton Tourbillon whose price would still be "affordable" compared to the competing productions of most of institutional brands or independent watchmakers. This is how we embarked on this challenge. We invite you to discover this new Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon below...
In a few words...
It is the convergence of the talents of independent watchmakers and myself - as a modest watch passionated entrepreneur - and of course my wife Sophie and our children who all participated to the project, which allowed the birth of the first 100% Swiss skeleton tourbillon of an independent French brand, whose family origin originates from the 18th century in Switzerland in the Canton of Neuchâtel, which is the reason why we wished to endow this watch with a Swiss caliber .

"Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon
Limited edition of 10 pieces!
Our Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon is offered in our 42mm diameter steel hand-satinned "Coeur Ouvert® Nouvelle Vague V2 T" case, modified by hand compared to the original CONV2 case, with a domed sapphire crystal, which has a high quality anti-reflective coating on both sides and a sapphire caseback.
Designed and manufactured by an independent workshop, our tourbillon caliber is an integrated manufacture movement without a generic base. Certified "Chronofiable", this hand-wound caliber beats at 21600 a/h and is adjusted in six positions. It has a significant power reserve of approximately 100 hours (plus or minus 5%), taht's to say more than 4 days of power reserve. The tourbillon is placed under a bridge at 6 o'clock.
Once skeletonized according to our own registered design, the tourbillon movement is micro-blasted and then treated in anthracite color as well as the flange, and the tourbillon bridge at 6 o'clock, whose shape recalls the "waves" of the movement, is finished with rhodium. The movement screws are made of blued steel.
Our Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon is very rare, produced in a very limited series since there will be no more than ten pieces produced, making its production cost much higher than many competing productions produced in hundred or thousand copies.
A new open dial signed at 3 o'clock!
In order to leave the skeletonized movement fully visible,
we have placed the brand's logo looking like the roman figure "III" at 3 o'clock.
The logo, which looks like the number "3", rightfully finds its place in this strategic location that one cannot fail to see as soon as the shirt sleeve partially reveals the watch! A signature that speaks for itself, a sign of identification. The hours are indicated by set "capsules", hand-filled with superluminova, the colour of which matches the hands.
Last detail, the strap is made of full skin alligator and the butterfly folding clasp is hand satin finished and bears the brand's logo.
We offer our Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon in a limited edition of 10 pieces for our 10 years anniversary !
The first N°0 piece displayed in the boutique is not for sale, but will allow you to discover the watch, to touch it, to put it on your wrist and to choose your possible options, in two words to be able to personalize your own "Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon" if you wish so.
The manufacturing time estimated for producing this model was 6 months but has been quite exceeded..

Exclusive hand made wooden boxes
The wooden boxes are handcrafted in Paris by Walter Bellini, who, after a career as a financial director in industry, studied cabinet making at the Ecole Boule
These cases are made of precious wood: Santos rosewood or olive ash burl.
The interior wooden cases are removable and lined with "antelope" coloured alcantara, as is the protective cover
and can easily be placed in a safe. They are designed to hold three watches and the sides of the cushions are in ebony.
The box, whose structure is made of Spanish cedar, is ideal for storing cigars, but can also hold any other object of your choice.

We are pleased to present (at last) our Coeur Ouvert® Nouvelle Vague V.2.3 which is now available with our redesigned caliber. These models are of course produced in limited series!
New exclusive caliber
The caliber is still a Unitas 6498 with small seconds at 6 o'clock. This caliber is quite difficult to find because it is not produced very often, indeed most of the movements of this type on the market have the small second at 9 o'clock. We have redesigned the bridge of the balance wheel, which now adopts the "wave" cut of the movement, and we have had a series of 60 movements cut, of which the first 30 movements are already available.
New open dial
Our new dial has been inspired by the Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon design, where the logo looking like the number "3" is placed at 3 o'clock and where the small seconds counter has disappeared, allowing the small seconds to "surf on the wave" of the movement! This is the new visual signature of our "Coeur Ouvert®" and skeleton models. The new indexes, logo and hands are treated in blue Superluminova, giving this dial a real personality. We have refined this new flange as much as possible so that it hides as little as possible the new caliber produced from Unitas 6498, cut and treated by independent workshops in La Chaux de Fonds.
Our Coeur Ouvert® Nouvelle Vague V2.3 is offered in the same 42mm diameter, 10.90mm thick, hand-satinned steel or steel-black case with a flat sapphire crystal, which benefits from an effective anti-reflective treatment and a transparent back.
The watches are delivered with a choice of a handmade strap in leather, rubber, crocodile or alligator, with a hand satin-finished steel folding clasp with our engraved logo or on a standard pin buckle (-50 €)

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Roy family manufacture created in 1818 by my four-great-grandfather Abraham-Henry Roy (1774-1850) and after the success of our Coeur Ouvert® Nouvelle Vague, we decided to launch a limited edition of our first skeleton chronograph watch, with a completely cut-out and transparent calibre and dial.
It should be pointed out here that a fully cut chronograph calibre produced in small series costs about four times more to produce than an identical chronograph model with only the top plate cut out, which makes our Coeur Ouvert® Chronograph particularly competitive.
This extraordinary new timepiece houses a Valjoux automatic chronograph caliber prepared, modified, cut and treated in black color by craftsmen in the Vallée de Joux. This caliber is equipped with four counters, including the date on a small counter at three o'clock, and is entirely skeletonized, in the very spirit of the Cœur Ouvert® Nouvelle Vague . In order to show as much as possible the transparent calibre with its original wave-shaped cut-out, the small seconds counter has been deliberately "forgotten".
This Coeur Ouvert® Chronograph is now available in two versions, with two different open dials: a black one that blends into the waves of the cut-out movement, and an anthracite one that stands out from the movement, giving the model a "3D" look. Which one do you prefer?
The subscription prices are only valid when you order and wait for the watch to be manufactured. The watch is now available and the subscription price is no longer applicable. The subscription price is no longer valid, the stock price is 8950 € TTC, a difference corresponding approximately to the VAT paid to the State (20%).

In the "Coeur Ouvert®" family, here is the most exclusive
“Grand Coeur Ouvert® Fantôme” ...
Why "Grand" ? Because the whole movement is visible, and "Fantôme" or "Ghost" because the writings blend into the entirely cut-out dial...
We started from an observation: the majority, even the totality of the "ghost" watches are black, obscure... Our ghost as in popular imagery is "white".
One of a kind, this "Grand Coeur Ouvert Fantôme" is a tribute - in the good sense of the word - to the automobile dashboards of the "great era", the Bugatti 35 and 37, Lotus Seven, Bentley, Morgan and other Amilcar or Jaguar cars. As far as modern cars are concerned, the dasboard aluminium finish of the latest Bentley Flying Spur model is also very similar to our caliber decoration.
The mechanical side of this watch is brought to its paroxysm by the metallic and mechanical aspect that is offered to the eyes of those who contemplate it... and acquire it.
The finely decorated 120-hour Manufacture calibre is now unveiled in its entirety, allowing you to admire both its front and back sides, in a version where the hours are symbolised by dots filled by hand with superluminova, the colour of which matches the hands. The white writing of the dial melts into the silvery rhodium-plated and satin-brushed metal, but is legible enough to retain all its functionality, as are the secondary hands of the Power Reserve and Retrograde Date. In addition, we have just decided to modify the hour and minute hands which are now fully luminescent, more readable under all lighting conditions.

Based on a Valjoux automatic chronograph caliber modified and customized in limited series by the Soprod manufacture, which adds a power reserve indicator placed at 3 o'clock, we propose in its most high-end movement finish, this flamboyant chronograph with a red "Ferrari" or "Ducati" dial, dedicated to lovers of fine automobiles or traditional mechanical sports!

The Fréret Roy 1818 Chronograph case is the one of our Coeur Ouvert® Chronograph, exclusive to the brand, it is made of hand satin-finished steel, with a diameter of 42mm and a reasonable thickness for an automatic chronograph of 14.48mm.
The dials have been produced in Switzerland by hand in multi-layer lacquer, both for the red lacquer of the dial, as well as for the numerals and indexes or the circles of the counters. In addition, the Arabic numerals and indexes are luminescent, as are the hands. The red dial presented here required the realization of five prints.
The watches are delivered as standard with a black checkered rubber strap with red stitching, the material of which looks like a Formula 1 racing car tire.
A satin-finished folding clasp engraved with our logo is standard.

Our 1818-2018 bicentenary watch was well sold out, but I've just picked up one piece from a customer - never worn - of our brand's first diver's watch, in its DLC Black version.
Water-resistant to 300 metres, it is distinguished by its "retractable" bezel, which gives an impression of robustness with its anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The numerals on the bezel have been hand-filled with the new grade XL Superluminova, matching the hour-markers and hands. The luminescent bezel thus becomes an integral part of the dial. The Fréret-Roy 1818 Sub-Ocean has a total diameter of 44 mm and is fitted with a natural rubber strap and a special folding clasp.
This extremely rare watch is now only available with a black DLC-treated steel case and bezel and screw-down crown. Its self-winding movement is a "historic" calibre 2846 (discontinued in 2006), less common than the 2824, with a superior power reserve of 48 hours instead of 38.

Jumbo Chrono

This good sized chronograph is equipped with the famous Valjoux 7750 caliber, but with an unusual date positioned at 4:30. In order to make each piece unique or almost, the termination of our movements can vary from one model to another, making them "different", and if some calibers have a ruthenium finish, for others the plates in the center of the dial are brushed and finished by hand.
The case is in 316L steel, water-resistant to 200 meters, screwed crown engraved with our logo, diameter 46.5mm excluding pushers and crown, total thickness 17.20 mm, reinforced glass 4.6 mm thick, engraved steel caseback. The total length from horn to horn is 55.95mm, but the curve of the horn allows it to fit quite thin wrists (see photos on my 17cm wrist).
The anthracite-bronze colored dial is open on the caliber. Its exceptional manufacturing alternates finishes between grained and circular brushed. The counters are thin, cut-out disks that conceal the center of the movement as little as possible.
This "Jumbo Chrono" is delivered on a strap matching the dial, in anthracite-bronze colored rubber sewn with a butterfly folding clasp engraved with our logo. For water sports, a second strap in black, orange or khaki rubber with a pin buckle is also offered with the watch.

For all our models, we offer a selection of straps in different materials and colors:
Alligator, crocodile, caiman, stingray, leather strapss in different skins or rubber straps, black or colored.
Alligator: black, grey, navy blue, royal blue, dark brown, medium brown, light brown or gold...
Checkered rubber: black, anthracite, antrhacite-bronze, blue, burgundy...
Most of our strap references are available in stock in three lengths:
S: 105/65mm for a wrist circumference between 14.5 and 16.5cm
M: 115/75mm for a wrist circumference between 16.5 and 18.5cm
L: 125/85mm for a wrist circumference between 18.5 and 20.5cm
For any other length, a strap can be made to measure and for any type of leather, cordura or checkered rubber...
Stainless Steel bracelets
Adaptable to all our 42mm models, we offer two types of bracelet in 316L stainless steel.
The first features a large rectangular central link,
The second features three thin, alternating links.
These bracelets are easily interchangeable.
Prices for watches fitted with these bracelets are the same as for the same model on a rubber or leather strap.
Standard boxes
The new standard cases are made of synthetic leather in a medium grey colour and come with an outer box.
Designed to hold one watch, they are reasonably sized (11cm x 11cm x 9.5cm)
