In addition to the collections of its own brand Fréret Roy 1818, the Fréret-Roy "Watches & Wonders" boutique also presents an original selection of independent and atypical watch brands, mostly Swiss but not only, since we also offer Italian, Russian and French brands.
You will rarely find these brands in other Parisian or even European boutiques.

Swiss-made watches have experienced a steady price increase in recent years, partly due to the Euro's continued decline in value against the Swiss Franc.
The rise of the CHF has been even sharper since 2022, since after crossing the historic and fateful threshold of €1 = CHF1, the rate fell to €0.95 against the CHF in October 2023, then to €0.92/CHF in January 2024! That's a rise in the CHF of more than 10% over two years. After recovering somewhat in recent weeks, the Euro has collapsed again, to around €0.93/CHF.
This change in the exchange rate has a significant negative impact on the prices of imported watches in Swiss francs.
For the record, the €/CHF exchange rate was around 1.50 at the beginning of the 2000s!
On our site, the prices of certain brands of Swiss watches available in particular on request are expressed in CHF excluding taxes and converted into Euros including French VAT at the current rate of 20%.
For any purchase from Switzerland and therefore outside the EU, the prices indicated on most Swiss sites, payable in CHF or €, will be increased by the French VAT rate of 20% as well as exchange, customs and transport costs.
Watch prices listed in CHF excluding taxes will be converted to euros when you order. These prices include French VAT and import duties.Of course, in the event of export outside the European Union our prices are invoiced excluding taxes.
