When we created our brand ten years ago, in addition to my passion for watches and my family's atavism - let's remember that my mother's family was active in watchmaking since the beginning of the 18th century in Switzerland, and then in Normandy - the creation of our brand was based on an idea: to offer our customers the watches they wanted. Our customers regularly asked us for a modern skeleton watch at a reasonable price, and so our first skeleton watch, the "Coeur Ouvert® Nouvelle Vague", was born.
Why a tourbillon watch ?
As for all our creations, it was discussions with our customers, at least some of them, that made us want to produce a tourbillon watch in a very limted edition! These customers expressed the desire to acquire a skeleton Tourbillon whose price would still be "affordable" compared to the competing productions of most of institutional brands or independent watchmakers. This is how we embarked on this challenge. We invite you to discover this new Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon below...
In a few words...
It is the convergence of the talents of independent watchmakers and myself - as a modest watch passionated entrepreneur - and of course my wife Sophie and our children who all participated to the project, which allowed the birth of the first 100% Swiss skeleton tourbillon of an independent French brand, whose family origin originates from the 18th century in Switzerland in the Canton of Neuchâtel, which is the reason why we wished to endow this watch with a Swiss caliber .

"Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon
Limited edition of 10 pieces!
Our Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon is offered in our "Coeur Ouvert® Nouvelle Vague V2 T" case, which has been hand-modified from the original CONV2 case, with a diameter of 42mm, in hand-satin-finished steel, featuring a domed sapphire crystal, which benefits from a very high quality reinforced anti-reflective treatment applied on both sides and a sapphire caseback.
Designed and manufactured by an independent workshop, our tourbillon caliber is an integrated manufacture movement with no generic base. Certified "Chronofiable", this hand-wound caliber beats at 21600 a/h and is adjustable in six positions. It has a significant power reserve of around 4 days. The tourbillon is placed under an arch-shaped bridge positioned at 6 o'clock.
The skeleton design is by Michel Fréret-Roy, and both the cut-out and the model have been registered with INPI, the French National Institute of Intellectual Property. Once skeletonized, the tourbillon movement is bead-blasted and then treated in anthracite color, as is the flange (open dial). The tourbillon bridge at 6 o'clock, in the shape of an arch in the spirit of the caliber's cut-out, is finished in rhodium. The movement screws are in blued steel.
Our Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon is very rare, produced in a very limited series since there will be no more than ten pieces produced, making its production cost much higher than many competing models produced in hundred or thousand copies.
A new open dial signed at 3 o'clock!
In order to leave the skeletonized movement fully visible,
we have placed the brand's logo looking like the roman figure "III" at 3 o'clock.
Our logo, which looks like the number "3", rightfully finds its place in this strategic location that one cannot fail to see as soon as the shirt sleeve partially reveals the watch! A signature that speaks for itself, a strong sign of identification. The hours are indicated by set "capsules", hand-filled with superluminova, the colour of which matches the leaf hands.
Last detail, the strap is made of full skin alligator and the butterfly folding clasp is hand satin finished and bears the brand's logo.

The first N°0 piece displayed in the boutique is not for sale, but will allow you to discover the watch, to touch it, to put it on your wrist and to choose your possible options, in two words to be able to personalize your own "Coeur Ouvert® Tourbillon" if you wish so.
The manufacturing time estimated for producing this model was 6 months but has been quite exceeded..

A new flange signed at 3 o’clock!
In order to leave the skeletonized movement visible in its entirety,
we moved the brand logo which resembles the Roman numeral "III", to 3 o'clock.
Our logo, which looks exactly like the number "3", legitimately finds its place in this strategic location that we cannot fail to see as soon as the shirt sleeve partially reveals the watch! A signature that speaks for itself, a strong identification sign. The hours are indicated by set “capsules”, hand-filled with blue superluminova whose color matches the leaf hands.
Each piece has its individual number engraved between the lugs.
The strap is in anthracite gray full-skin alligator and the butterfly folding clasp is hand-brushed and bears our brand logo.
The first pieces are finally available, but most of them already reserved or sold.

The Fréret-Roy 1818 boxes are made of precious wood:
Santos rosewood or olive ash burl.
Any type of wood on special order!
The interior wooden boxes are removable and covered in “antelope” colored Alcantara, as is their protective cover.
and can be easily placed in a safe. They are designed to accommodate three watches, the sides of the cushions are in ebony.
The box, whose structure is made of Spanish cedar, is ideal for storing cigars, but can accommodate any other object of your choice.
