Pequignet is currently the only French watch manufacture,

that has designed and developed mechanical calibers presented below.
This is an exception in the French watch industry.


In 1973 in Morteau, in the mountains of the French Jura – where the French watchmaking industry was born – Emile Pequignet started his eponymous brand, which he signed with his initials EP. The young Emile started in traditional watchmaking at the age or 16 and had ambition to combine his talent with his ambition. His audacious creativity combined with the quality of the materials he carefully chooses to make his watches are his strength and lead him to success.

Honored by five "Cadran d'Or" ("Golden Dial") for the beauty of its "Lady" collections, Pequignet was then the favorite brand of a whole generation of modern and elegant women. A great lover of horses, Emile Pequignet established the Pequignet brand as a true ambassador of the equestrian world of the 1980s and 1990s.


In 2004, Emile Pequignet sold his brand and the company took a direction towards Haute-Horlogerie. In 2006, Pequignet inaugurated its in-house Haute Horlogerie laboratory, equipped with the latest technology and staffed by highly talented watchmakers and engineers.


In 2011, the company  set up its Manufacture workshops and introduced a new, highly innovative mechanical movement combining reliability, precision and performance: the Calibre Royal® . True banner of the company, the manufacture  "Calibre Royal®" is presented in detail below. The same year, the Royal Lily becomes Pequignet's emblem and the "Pequignet Manufacture" collection is launched, and the second "Lifestyle" collection with generic movements is named Horloger Créateur, integrating the Moorea collections dear to founder Emile Pequignet.

In 2017, the brand and manufacture were taken over by four executives who had saved the company and relaunched the brand after the former buyer filed for bankruptcy. In 2021, Pequignet was taken over by the French fund ENOWE Excellence.

In 2023, under the aegis of the Enowe Excellence fund, the collections have merged, the logo has changed, the fleur-de-lys has disappeared from the full logo and dials, many models have changed name, others have disappeared from the catalog to make way for new models that you will soon be able to discover here.


In 2023 Pequignet also celebrates its 50th anniversary and breathes new life into its brand image. It's up to you to make up your own mind.

"Attitude"

Pequignet has just announced the arrival of its new Attitude line, the first edition of which is adorned with 18kt solid gold.
This new 5N rose gold case will house the first 100 "Initial" movements.
The Initial caliber opens a new page in watchmaking, offering a return to the forefront of French haute horlogerie. "Initial" is the first of a series of new movements that will combine craftsmanship, technicality and French know-how. We invite you to "join the movement" both literally and figuratively.

It's a new line, a new refined case, a new in-house manufacture caliber.
Pequignet takes up the industrial challenge of French manufacturing in Morteau and reveals all its know-how in this limited series, with a dial whose individual serial number is painted by hand, piece by piece.

Calibre Initial EPM03

Manufacture self-winding caliber, 21 jewels, 65-hour power reserve obtained at a frequency of 28,800 a/h, stop seconds, openworked oscillating weight bearing the lily in relief and a colimaçonnage decoration, two-way winding.

Calibre Royal®

Pequignet Manufacture

Released in 2011 and emblem of the "new" Pequignet, the “Calibre Royal” is a real manufacture mechanical caliber , symbol of the Renaissance of French Haute-Horlogerie. The Calibre Royal® was entirely designed, prototyped, tested and assembled in the brand's Haute Horlogerie laboratory in Morteau. To achieve the production of this movement 279 industrial drawings have been required, the production of 318 specific components,  including 316 components designed by the in-house laboratory, 150 tools for manufacturing the components, more than 20,000 measurements, all testament to the company’s exacting standards. Eight international patents have been obtained and protect this true masterpiece  of innovation.

In addition to its original performances, the Calibre Royal® is a movement with multiple complications. Initially automatic, it has recently also been developed in a "manual" version. it is proposed at a very competitive price whatever its version.

Description of the Caliber Royal®

Manufacture movement EPM01 with automatic winding in both directions, 21,600 alt / h (3 Hz), diffusion of the initial force by a central axis with the barrel, large balance wheel with compensating screws in solid gold, amplitude of 220 ° in vertical position after 72 hours of run-time. Calculated power reserve of 88 hours, indicated on the dial by a power reserve indicator . 
The guaranted power reserve in isochronism is 72 hours. This complication is intagrated in the caliber design.
Small seconds at 4 o'clock symmetrical to the power reserve.
Movement finish: beaded, snailed bridges and plate and Côtes de Genève.
Sunray and rhodium-plated oscillating weight, engraved with the Fleur de Lys logo.
Depending on the movement configuration choosen, it may also feature:
Day-Date with big date thanks to three disks which all jump instantaneously and simultaneously at midnight
Large moon-phase indicator precise over 122 years, positioned at 6 o'clock, integrated complication in the caliber design
GMT small hand operated by a central pusher in the center of the crown and day-night indicator.

All "Rue Royale" cases have a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 12.60 mm
Slighly domed sapphire cristal with anti-reflective treatment and sapphire back.

"Rue Royale Saphir"
The Rue Royale Saphir is equipped with the Royal Caliber automatic full-calendar, and features a sapphire crystal dial that allows the date discs to be revealed in full transparency with a triple instant jump. The sapphire dial is highlighted by a metal structure that highlights the complications and its black moon hollowed out of the mass. The Fleur-de-Lys watches over the 88-hour power reserve. The Royal Caliber automatic EPMO1 that equips it is presented above. This exceptional timepiece, resolutely horological and racy, is now available in two new versions, the first in steel with a blue dial, the second in 18kt pink gold 5N harmony.

"Paris Royale"
The Paris Royal collection is the alternative to the Rue Royale.
With a dimension of 41 mm in diameter close to the Rue Royale one, the cases are nevertheless different, the bezel is flush on the sides of the case which are hollowed out in the mass, the characters of the dials are also very different. In particular, the moon phase appears in a classical shape and dimensions.
The watches in the Paris Royal collection are available in steel and 18kt yellow or white solid gold.

Within the "Manufacture" collection, the "Royale Titane" has a titanium case of the same dimensions as the "Grand Sport", that is to say 44 mm for a thickness of approximately 12.60 mm. Two calibers equip them, the "Day-Date" caliber and the "Small Second Power Reserve" caliber.
These models can be delivered either on a rubber strap with folding clasp "joined", or on a bracelet in "cordura", technical fabric lined with rubber and pin buckle. The appearance of these two variants being different, we present the rubber/cordura versions of the models below ...

Water-resistant to 300 metres, "scuba diving" is its domain. Equus
The Equus collection goes back to the equestrian roots of the founder of the brand Emile Pequignet. Specific "equestrian" horns, simplicity and roundness of lines, for this 41 or 42 mm stainless steel case in two parts, with the bezel integrated into the case, flat sapphire crystal, solid case-back engraved with the fleur-de-lys logo, thickness 11.53 mm. The watches in the Equus collection are equipped with "classic" calibers. The Regulator is housed in a 41 mm case and is powered by an SII NH37 calibre and the automatic "3 hands" watch with a 42 mm case is now equipped with a Sellita SW200 Swiss caliber.

Aviateur
Exclusively for Men, the Pequignet "Aviateur" watch combines the classic appearance of aviator's watches with remarkable functionality and reliability. Case in steel or black DLC steel, 42mm diameter, 12.15 mm thick, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, screw-down caseback, 10 atm water-resistant, matt black dial with large Arabic figures and white superluminova hour-markers, "classic" automatic movement .
Hossegor
Like the seaside town of the same name, the Hossegor watch is dedicated to the seaside... and is water-resistant to 100 meters.
Proposed in men's size only, this automatic watch has a sporty 43mm case and is 11.90mm thick, has an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a solid steel case-back, available in two versions in steel or black DLC titanium. Beach, swimming pool and diving (not scuba) are its vocation, displayed by its sporty look and its unidirectional rotating bezel. It is equipped with a classic automatic caliber and the typical steel bracelet of the brand or a one-piece rubber strap with folding clasp.

Collection for Ladies

Moorea
Symbol of the Pequignet DNA, Moorea comes back in roundness, in the respect and continuity of its legendary link, in two and three rows. The common characteristics to the different Moorea models are as follows:
stainless steel cases in two diameters of 29mm and 36mm, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, solid screwed caseback, high-precision quartz movement, stainless steel bracelet integrated into the distinctive Moorea mesh. The two-tone versions in steel and 18kt gold have a bezel and the links of the bracelets in solid 18kt 3N yellow gold and are therefore not plated, which explains their higher price.

Attelage
Another emblematic collection from the origins of Pequignet, the Attelage watch is exclusively dedicated to women!
"A passion for riding" according to Pequignet.
Like a talisman, this timepiece has been designed to accompany women in their daily lives.
A unique model declined:
In three case colours: steel, steel PVD yellow gold or PVD pink gold 5N, equipped with two-hand Swiss quartz movements. Case measuring 21mm high by 25mm wide, excluding stirrups, set or not with 18 diamonds on the stretchers (sides), sapphire crystal, engraved solid case-back. The two mobile stirrups allow to change the bracelet easily. The watch is delivered with two steel or PVD steel bracelets on pin buckle.

Equus Lady "Small Second" Quartz
The Lady Equus Small Second watch is available in two case sizes, 38 mm with date, and 30 mm without date, in two case colours: steel or rose gold PVD steel, sapphire crystal, engraved solid case-back. Silvered dial with stamped decoration, small seconds in amother-of-pearl circle. Date window on the 38 mm model. The movement that equips these watches is an ultra-thin Swiss quartz caliber.
Four different straps, made in France, in different colours and materials are available, please specify your choice when ordering:
Black calf leather (N), gold calf leather (G), white patent leather (B) and pink satin (R).

Two-piece steel case, diameter 30 mm, ultra-flat. An abundance of dials in different colours and materials, available with or without diamonds, in mother-of-pearl or in matt or sunburst metal. Leather straps made in France and the pin buckles wear the fleur de lys. Numerous versions and colours of straps are available: white varnished leather (VB), matt black leather (CN), red crocodile printed leather (CR), pink stingray printed leather (GP), purple stingray printed leather (GV), single (CG) or double turn (CGD) matt brown leather. Trocadéro

A true jewelry art piece, the Trocadero models stand out for their diversity, the steel and two-tone steel versions are available with several dials, with or without setting. Two lateral stretchers harmoniously embrace the timepiece, giving it an original design.

Un modèle féminin unique décliné :

Stainless steeel case 32mm, it can be set with one row of diamonds around the dial,set with two rows of diamonds around the outside or bezel of the case, or all set with three rows of diamonds. The crystal is sapphire, and the solid back is engraved.
